Birthday Surprise
He looked for an extra special gift for his fantastic wife. After hours of searching, he finally found the perfect gift: a diamond ring. This will not only make for an excellent gift but should show her just how much he loved her. He put in his credit card number on the webpage and ordered it. He would pick it up from the store on his way home. While getting all the supply he would need to give her a great dinner
Getting to the store and grabbing some lobster, streak, candles, and of course, some beautiful roses and petals to sprinkle from the kitchen to the bedroom where if he was lucky is where the meal ends but dessert begins. That brought a smile to his face. After getting all the supplies for this evening he made the last stop for her gift.
Getting home he starts to set everything up. His wife was at work. He had been unemployed for a while now and this has been a point of contention between them; he hoped this dinner would help that. He would have everything timed perfectly. When she got home the food would be on the table, the candles would be lit and he would greet his love by the door. Going into the kitchen he planned on making all of her favorites. He would make steak and lobster. The steak would be cooked medium-rare, he would also boil the lobster this all would take several hours but cooking for the love of his life was never a chore as much as a labor of love for him. Finally, he finished getting the table all setup and the petals scattered throughout the house.
As if on queue as he heard a car door shut and his wife slowly approached the house. The jingle of keys as she unlocked the front door. Dimming the lights and hitting play on the music. As she entered the house to her favorite song.
He could hear her voice sing through the house. “Honey, what is that smell? It smells heavenly.” She rounds the corner into the kitchen to see the table filled with food, candles lit, with a trail of roses to the bedroom.
As she stands there in stunned silence he sneaks up behind her covering her eyes. Happy birthday he whispers into her ear as spinning her around embracing her in a kiss. After the kiss ended he pulled the ring out of his pocket and put it on her finger.
“Ah, that ring could not have found a better home. It is almost as lovely as you.” He said to her with a smile and a wink. “Come, come honey sit down.” he gestured to a chair. However, she declined.
“You cooked this meal, let me get you a drink. Come on my love, sit down and relax. You have earned it after this lovely birthday surprise.” She walks over to get them both a drink, however as she pours her husband she adds a little something special in. She sauntered over to him setting the drink onto the table with a kiss on his cheek as she took the seat opposite to him.
“Well now that you are home let's dig in.” The two start to dig in. Not too far into the meal. The husband started to feel lightheaded. Moments later his world was evloped into darkness. He woke a short time later. Tied to a chair with a headache.
“What the fuck? What am I tied to a chair? What happened? Honey are you there?” He could not hide the fear in his voice though he tried.
From behind him he heard someone slowly approach him. “Hello is that you honey?”
“Yes, my sweet it is.” She said this in a disinterested tone with a hint of malice in it. She walked over to him and sat in his lap.
“Honey this was so sweet it almost makes up for you…. Well you know. This was a great start to making up for cheating on me. However, I am not sure I can trust you. Can I trust you?” She asked with glee in her voice as she grabbed the large knife he sat on the table to cut the cake.
“Honey I told you she meant nothing to me, It was a mistake. Just a moment of weakness, You are the love of my life. If I lost you I would rather die than live without you.” Tears started to flow from his eyes as he continued to beg his wife to untie him and let him go.
She sat there and stared at him. Her eyes betrayed no emotion or any of what she was thinking. Finally after what felt like an eternity she spoke. “ I am pleased to hear you say this. But I don't know if I can trust you just yet. But if you would do me one favor to prove how much you love me then we can put the past behind us and move on. However, if you fail to do this for me well…”
She thrust the knife in the cake and it glided through the cake like a hot knife through butter. “That made my point for me.” She giggled maniacally
This is a side she's never shown before. : What do you want me to do?” he stammered in fear..
“Oh, it's nothing too much my dear. Just eat this.” As she said this she pulled the lid off the plate exposing a human heart.
“Is,is,is,is that?” He stuttered unable to finish that statement.
“The whore you cheated on me with yes. They say jealousy is a strong emotion that can end a relationship well in this case it ended a life. Now the question you must ask yourself is whether she is worth dying over?”
“I'll do it.” He said defeated. Or that is how she took it at least.
She unties him and he grabs the heart, devouring it in one bit. Next time don't cook it so much it ruins the taste. He turns around looking with rows of razor-sharp teeth and his eyes are darker than the darkest night she had ever seen.
“What are you,” she stammers. “
It does not matter. What does is I love you or I would have killed you by now. So where is the rest of that body waste not want not after all.
She looks at him and points into the kitchen but before she does she kisses him. “I always knew you loved me, now that I know all of you we can hunt together.
